Oldies but goodies !!!

I recently bought a new laptop, hence my recent introduction to the world of blogging!

Anyhoo I have been sorting through some old pic's on my old grandad of a pc

to transfer to my new flashy acer......

When I came across this beauty!! haha

This is Kassidy my middle daughter, she is now 8 1/2 but was about 3 in the pic.

A fab day at the park.

Today made me thing about the importance of the little thing's.

like just spending time with your family...real time were you just do..without watching the clock thinking about what you need to be doing or should be doing. Time and peace and laughter. Really listening to them and forgetting about everything else running around in your mind jostling for attention.

Today we just went to the park, played on the swings and looked at the different animals. We sat and did nothing and chatted and focused on each other.

We really don't do that enough. We seem to have fallen in to the habit of squeezing each other in between other task's......time with each other is not a task.

Don't let your tasks take over your pleasures...life is too short!
